Will quartz bricks become another tile category that replaces natural stone?

Due to the non-renewable nature of natural stone, imitation stone products are deeply loved by the market. Quartz brick is one of the top ceramic tile categories in Italy. Due to the use of special production technology and formula raw materials, under non-constant temperature calcination and pressure conditions, quartz bricks can form a dense structure like quartz crystals in the brick body. The water absorption rate of the brick body is less than 0.1%. It has the characteristics of high density, hardness, bending resistance, wear resistance, anti-fouling and moisture resistance. Quartz brick is one of the high-end ceramic tile brand product categories in Italy. At present, there are not many manufacturers specializing in the production of quartz bricks. Except for Italy, there are only a few ceramic tile factories in China that have formed large-scale and professional capacity. Among them, it is the leader in this field in China.

On March 4th, Quartz Brick introduced the company's quartz brick products in detail to a group of visiting industry media at the Foshan headquarters. President Yao Wenjiang, Vice President Fang Chengjie, and Brand Promotion Director Zhang Ping accepted a collective interview with a group of industry media reporters, uncovering the mystery of quartz bricks for media friends.

According to Yao Wenjiang, view refers to attitude, and gres is the root of ceramic tiles, so familiar friends in the industry often call it "ceramic tiles with attitude". Yao Wenjiang, who was trained in technology, later joined foreign trade, and finally established his own company and established a brand. In 2010, he dedicated himself to the European and American markets and developed the world's first 2cm quartz porcelain plate.

■ Consistent in appearance and appearance, low water absorption are the two major characteristics of quartz bricks

2Cm quartz porcelain plate has won the recognition and respect of European and American customers. In 2015, 1cm quartz brick, a product defined by the core concept of "natural aesthetics", was launched, advocating the new concept of quartz brick indoor & outdoor "indoor and outdoor" application.

The team told reporters that the brick is a composite brick material with a uniform appearance, water absorption of less than 0.1%, and a dense and non-porous quartz crystal.

According to the introduction, the quartz brick reproduces the texture of natural stone, delicate touch and realistic visual effect, restores the whole body texture of natural stone, makes the brick body as inside and outside, dense and non-porous, can perfectly restore the texture of natural stone, touch, visual sense and whole body texture, the perfect combination of decorative effect and practical performance, is an excellent substitute for natural stone, but also has no radiation, small color difference, less defects, no water seepage, easy care, short supply cycle and other advantages.

The brick body of quartz brick is dense, making its water absorption rate less than 0.1%, which is at the leading level in the industry. Extremely low water absorption makes the liquid placed on the surface of quartz brick for a long time almost impermeable to the embryo body, not easy to yellow and discolor, suitable for indoor and outdoor decoration.

■ Technical advantages lead the development direction of quartz bricks

The successful experience in the European and American markets convinced the team that only by insisting on independent innovation and continuously improving the level of production technology can we gain a firm foothold in the market. From the world's first 2cm quartz porcelain board to advocating the concept of indoor and outdoor application, the team has invested a lot of hard work in production and research and development. Yao Wenjiang revealed to reporters that the quartz brick has a number of independent innovation technologies. Among them, in terms of recycling waste, the use of industrial tailings as one-third of the raw materials has been patented, and it has become the first building materials company in China to apply for US green building materials certification.

Since the input-output ratio is much higher than the industry, quartz bricks are an environmentally friendly product from this perspective. And because they are high-end products, they can ensure that more energy is invested in energy-saving and environmental protection upgrades. In addition, according to Yao Wenjiang, in cooperation with a scientific research institution, we have vigorously developed honeycomb ceramics to remove nitrogen to make up for this gap.

According to reports, Quartz Brick has a strong international production and R & D team, established a product design studio in New York, North America, and continuously introduced world-class production equipment and established a product testing center to ensure that the factory's products have passed the relevant national standard certification.
