Beijing International Trade Center

Release time:2018-05-18

Located in the central business district of Beijing, it was built in 2007, with a height of 330 meters and 80 floors. It was jointly invested and built by the International Trade Center and the Guo Brothers Group. It forms a 1.10 million-square-meter complex together with the first and second phases of International Trade, making it the largest international trade center in the world today.

The third phase of the China World Trade Center, the tallest building in Beijing, embodies the efforts and wisdom of the owner, the designer and the construction organizer. To ensure the quality of the building, the China World Trade Center carefully selected its cooperative team. The scheme design was carried out by SOM from the United States and WITL International from Hong Kong, and the structural consultant was Oana OAP. So many companies have joined forces to build it into a super Grade A office building. The designer, with innovative design ideas, has ingeniously combined the latest architectural trends in the world with the existing building complex of the International Trade Center, successfully designing a new comprehensive architectural system and creating an unforgettable landmark building.

The quality control of the construction party of the third phase of the China World Trade Center, a landmark building in Beijing, is extremely strict. Whether it is the evaluation and selection of construction teams or building materials, all are conducted through transparent bidding to select the best candidates. All the interior walls and basements in the high-rise buildings of the third phase of the China World Trade Center that need to be painted with wall paint are decorated and protected with Karry interior wall paint. The entire bidding process for the interior wall paint is divided into four stages: screening candidate brands, selecting 10 brands to participate in the second bidding, then selecting another 5 brands to participate in the final bidding, and finally determining one winning brand. The selection criteria, methods and procedures for each stage adhere to the principles of uniformity, openness and transparency. Whether it is enterprise qualifications, product performance, coating process, coating cost, sample effect, sample project, on-site investigation, supporting services, team image, etc., they are all important indicators for the evaluation of the project party.

The main structure of the main tower of the third phase of the International Trade Center is a tube-in-tube structure, that is, the combination of the external steel reinforced concrete frame cylinder and the internal steel reinforced concrete support core cylinder. The seismic resistance grade is 8, and the design and construction difficulties are rarely seen in the world's super high-rise building structures. The first and second floors of the main tower feature grand, spacious and bright business office lobbies and hotel lobbies with a clear height of 9 meters. High-end and innovative interior design will give people a sense of solemnity, elegance and relaxation. The office area is divided into two zones, high and low. The low zone is floors L6 to L27, and the high zone is floors L30 to L53. One of the most distinctive features of the office area is that the air conditioning system adopts the world's most advanced variable air volume air conditioning system.

From the 56th floor to the 68th floor, there are luxury hotels. There are over 270 spacious, bright and luxuriously decorated guest rooms here, with an average of 60 square meters per room. The 71st floor is the hotel's sky lobby, consisting of a business center, a reception room, a conference hall and a bar. The 72nd and 73rd floors are for dining and viewing areas. The podium of the third phase of the International Trade Center is divided into a banquet annex and a commercial annex. The total construction area is approximately 55,000 square meters. The banquet annex is located on the north side of the main tower. The first and second floors are shops and are connected to the commercial annex.

The commercial annex is located to the east of the main tower. It has five floors above ground and four floors underground (including the parking building). The simple lines of the commercial annex, combined with the cable-type glass curtain wall, enhance the light and space inside the shopping mall. The floor slabs of the first to fourth floors are hollowed out to directly introduce light into the interior, making the environment inside the shopping mall more natural and integrating the interior and exterior into a whole. The commercial annex building offers nearly a hundred specialty stores to guests, providing high-quality commercial services, including international luxury goods, clothing and accessories, Chinese and Western cuisine, entertainment and fitness, gifts and toys, etc.
