Plaster is a very commonly used external medicine, which has the characteristics of convenient use, low price and remarkable curative effect. Commonly used in the family are black plaster (such as dipping cream, analgesic cream, dog skin cream, etc.) and plaster (such as damp analgesic cream, anti-inflammatory analgesic cream, etc.). Although sticking plaster is a small matter, there is a lot of knowledge in it. Specifically, the following four points should be noted:

Master the indications Each plaster has its own unique pharmacological effects and cannot be "universal" at will. For example, due to chronic low back pain and bruises caused by wind cold, etc., can be used dog skin plaster or wind-chasing ointment to dissipate cold and remove wind, soothe tendons and promote blood circulation, and relieve pain; due to hot poison and stagnation caused by carbuncle at the beginning of the induration, redness, swelling and pain, pus does not collapse or long-term collapse does not heal, can be used to extract poison, reduce swelling and decay muscle; plaster plaster has the effect of anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving, and has a certain curative effect on rheumatism, low back pain, muscle pain, sprains, contusions, etc.; heart-saving ointment is a traditional Chinese medicine such as musk, borneol, safflower, frankincense, myrrh, etc. made of nitroglycerin. Once angina symptoms occur, you can immediately take a piece and stick it in the front of the heart, generally 5~ The angina can be relieved in 6 minutes.

The method should be correct. Before sticking the plaster, you should wipe the skin on the affected area or acupuncture point with a hot towel or ginger slices, and then stick it. The plaster should shave the hair or avoid the hairy area as much as possible, otherwise it will not stick, and the second is that it will cause pain when tearing off the hair. When the climate is cold in winter, eraser plasters are often not easy to stick. At this time, you can apply the plaster with a hot water bag after sticking it, so that it can be firmly pasted and increase the therapeutic effect. Baking methods are also particular. For example, if you use a black plaster plaster, you should first put the plaster on an alcohol lamp, candle, etc. to warm up or float it on boiling water to soften. When the baked plaster does not burn the skin, then stick it on the affected area. The affected area must be washed with warm water and dried, otherwise the plaster will not be firm. This plaster can last for 1 to 2 weeks.

Some plasters must be pasted on specific parts, such as children's warm umbilical ointment to treat children's cold abdominal pain, must be pasted on the navel, and children under the month should be pasted on the small abdomen under the umbilical; ten incense warm umbilical ointment to treat abdominal cold pain, can be pasted on the umbilical abdomen, can also be pasted on the sore spot; another example is yang and coagulation ointment, which should be pasted on the Dazhui point behind the neck when used. Do not abuse if there are contraindications.

What should I do if there is blistering on the plaster?

Most people have no obvious discomfort after sticking the plaster, and some people will feel local fever and itching, which is a normal reaction and can be ignored. Some people also apply the plaster for 1 to 2 hours after local redness, swelling, heat pain, or even blistering and oozing. At this time, the plaster should be removed. If the bubble is small, apply some iodophor to avoid infection. If the bubble is large, go to the hospital to extract the liquid in the bubble with a sterilized needle. Generally, after a week, the scab will fall off at the blistering place.

When applying plaster, in order to minimize the occurrence of the above allergic reactions, some foods should be avoided, such as chives, cilantro, seafood, and spicy and irritating foods. People who are allergic to zinc oxide tape, drugs, and pregnant women should reduce or avoid plaster.
