LED electronic screen as a low power consumption, large-scale real-time dynamic display of information is the best tool, it can display computer-generated dynamic graphic and text screen, LED electronic screen can be divided into three types from the installation environment, one is indoor LED electronic screen, the second is outdoor LED electronic screen, the third is semi-outdoor LED electronic screen, each installation environment light is different, so do not install wrong, otherwise it is not too bright or too dark. LED electronic screen is generally composed of red, green, blue, white and other separate colors, and the display content is generally text content and simple patterns. The models of LED monochrome displays mainly include indoor 3.75 models and 5.0 models. The door head semi-outdoor generally has p10 and p16, and the outdoor is generally p10, p16 and p20, etc. The general brightness is 2000cd/square meter. High-brightness monochrome LED displays are currently the mainstream of the market and are widely used in stores, banks, docks, bus stations, and advertising.

LED electronic screen has experienced from monochrome, two-color graphic display, to image display, to today's full-color video display. No matter in the period of performance (brightness LED display and blue light, etc.) and system composition (computerized full dynamic display system) have made great progress. The level of ultra-high brightness full-color video display that has been reached can be said to meet the requirements of various application conditions. Its application field has spread to transportation, securities, telecommunications, advertising, publicity and other aspects. The development of LED display in our country can be said to be basically synchronized with the world level, and has formed an industry with considerable development potential so far. It should be pointed out that our country's LED industry has not only achieved earth-shattering wins in application technology, but also has excellent performance in innovation ability. Compared with the rapid development of the domestic LED display industry, there are too few books on LED displays at present, which is not convenient for the design and manufacturing personnel and the use of maintenance personnel. Therefore, the idea of writing a book on LED display technology originated. At the invitation of the University of Electronic Science and Technology Press, I took the courage to write a book. The book describes the general situation of LED displays, LED display devices, graphic displays, image displays, video displays and other related technical issues, in order to enable readers engaged in various types of LED display work to get some useful materials from this book.
