In recent years, Shufu County has continuously optimized the industrial layout, strengthened scientific and technological support, guided the masses to develop the facility vegetable industry according to local conditions, cleverly hit the "seasonal difference" and "time difference" to continuously improve the competitiveness of the vegetable market, and achieve a win-win situation between industrial development and income increase for the masses.
On July 6, walking into the greenhouse base of Qigeman Village in Liaoyuan Town, 246 arched sheds were neatly arranged. Tomatoes, peppers and other seasonal vegetables in the shed ushered in a bumper harvest. The villagers were busy picking, selecting and loading baskets.
"I have planted 6 sheds of tomatoes now. According to the market price, each shed can earn 4,000 yuan. Next, I am going to plant another crop of cowpeas." Farmer Ruzejiang Musa said with a smile.
The natural green and pollution-free makes the vegetables here have their own "eye-catching" properties, which quickly won a good reputation in the market and attracted many traders to the fields to buy. "The vegetables here are of good quality and sell well in the market. I bought peppers, tomatoes, and cowpeas and shipped them directly to Kashgar Kuklan Market." Trader Ablimiti Maimati said.
It is understood that the base is a demonstration area for efficient green stubble planting in Shufu County, covering an area of 205 mu. It is jointly built by the Kashgar Fruit and Vegetable Industry Development Center, Shufu County Agriculture and Rural Bureau and Liaoyuan Town. The base adopts "early spring + late autumn" efficient green stubble planting mode, cleverly uses "time difference", "season difference", "space difference" and "variety structure difference", so that different vegetable crops can "take turns", which significantly improves the efficiency of land use and brings good economic benefits to growers.
