The latest data released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the China Logistics Information Center show that with the deepening of the supply-side structural reform in the logistics field, in the first four months of this year, logistics demand maintained steady growth, the quality of logistics operation was further improved, and the logistics industry continued to develop rapidly. Data show that from January to April this year, the total amount of social logistics in the country was 76 trillion yuan, calculated at comparable prices, an increase of 7.0% year-on-year, and the growth rate increased by 1.1 percentage points compared with the same period of the previous year, a slight decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the first quarter. The total cost of social logistics was 3.60 trillion yuan, an increase of 9.8% year-on-year, and the growth rate slowed down, down 0.1 percentage points from the first quarter. A major feature of logistics operations in the first four months is that the transformation of old and new kinetic energy has promoted the improvement of logistics demand structure. From the perspective of composition, while the logistics demand of traditional industries continues to recover and grow, the supporting role of high-tech industries and equipment manufacturing industries on logistics demand is becoming increasingly obvious.
