国窖建材扎根北美

2014年,中国陶瓷行业对于国际市场的关注程度空前。将视野拓宽至全球市场,无疑是每一个品牌型企业高度的体现。那么问题来了,除了视野上的关注,品牌型企业要想扎根国外市场,又该如何做?12月12日,瓷砖北美区总裁朱尔斯(Jules  Miller)在佛山期间,接受了《陶城报》记者专访。在访谈中,朱尔斯向记者解密了“将靠什么扎根北美市场”。

  访谈中,朱尔斯透露:“当初打动他加盟的主要原因是国际化的视野和创新能力”。

  在开拓国外市场的过程中,产品和技术实力的受关注程度,往往会高于营销实力。而的产品实力也是令朱尔斯最有信心的。“一直以来,在品质、独立性、产品多样化、设计创新、整套解决方案、领导力等方面保持着明显优势。值得一提的是,在2009年首创全球2CM瓷砖,非常与众不同,通过最新的技术把产品的完美度推向极致,在全球市场特别是欧洲市场很畅销。”朱尔斯评价:瓷砖在北美将打开更大的销售空间,创造了更多的销售机会,除了与瓷砖形成竞争,也和水泥预制品、石材等展开竞争。

  产品的精益求精,离不开其背后人才团队的驱动。与其他中国本土公司不同,创立之初就获得欧洲投资,有专门负责运营欧洲市场的当地团队。朱尔斯说:“北美区人才库里面不但有一流的营销人才、还有一流的设计人才。” 在陶瓷行业30多年的耕耘,使得朱尔斯能够准确剖析和把握产品流行趋势,并结合经济走势,对北美区的业务战略进行规划。 据朱尔斯介绍,近两年,美国经济整体趋势是向上的。“市场也比较乐观,零售、酒店、餐饮、等行业慢慢在恢复生机,这对建材行业来说也有很正面的影响。”

  基于以上提到的各种优势,朱尔斯相信,北美区会在很短的时间内实现裂变式增长。
