广东某某第一中学数字化校园建设，包含无线网络、智慧班牌、创课平台、纳米智能触控黑板、广播系统、录播电视台、虚拟化网络机房、台式电脑、教学管理应用平台，软件、硬件、环境等配套项目。是学校集科学（Science），技术（Technology），工程（Engineering），艺术（Art），数学（Mathematics）几门学科于一体的综合教育空间。通过该中心可以让学生在课堂上自己动手设计实验去找寻答案并形成项目团队展开深入研究。
现有在校学生3033人， 教学班58个，其中高中班40个，初中班18个。
近几年，学校综合管理水平、教育教学质量、师资质量等全面提升，获得了社会的普遍认可，多次受到上级政府部门的嘉奖。先后获得全国教科文卫体系统模范教工之家、档案管理一级单位、 级文明单位、模范教工之家、模范教工之家标兵单位、绿色学校、关心下一代先进集体、巾帼文明岗、基础教育示范学校、先进学校、 先进基层党组织、民族团结模范单位、 卫生红旗单位、民主管理先进单位等荣誉，同时是国家基础教育新教材实验学校、国家基础教育外语实验学校。
