Ye Chengcheng, secretary of Dunzi Village, said that this year the company has sold more than 600,000 white eggplants and white cucumbers, with a net profit of 280,000 yuan.
Yudian Town is the famous "Sanbai" (white eggplant, white cucumber, Chinese cabbage) vegetable hometown. The history of planting "Sanbai" vegetables is a hundred years old. The white eggplant that has been bred with time is tender and delicious, the white cucumber is crispy and delicious, and the Chinese cabbage is rolled into leaves, which is favored by consumers.
In order to further make Yudian "Sanbai" vegetable fame, in July 2021, Dunzi Village transferred land and opened the road of specialized vegetable and fruit cultivation by planting eggplant and cucumber in the shed and cabbage, corn and watermelon outside the shed.
"In the early years, the planting area of'Sanbai 'was mostly retail, and the planting area was small, the cost of management and protection was high, and the output has not increased." Ye Chengcheng introduced that in the face of a large number of market demand, the village decisively decided to invest in the "Sanbai" industry, while building "science and technology greenhouses" for large-scale planting, while breeding to increase yield.
Entering the "science and technology greenhouses", a heat wave hit the face, as if entering the "sauna". "When the greenhouse is hot, it absorbs heat and accumulates heat, and when the weather is cold, it releases heat and keeps warm. The temperature in the shed is always controlled at 26-28 degrees Celsius to ensure the production of'Sanbai 'vegetables." Ye Chengcheng introduced that the "Sanbai" industrial park has a total of 76 high-standard vegetable cultivation greenhouses. The greenhouses are built with galvanized pipes and can be used for 20 years. The industrial park adopts the integrated management of water and fertilizer. There are temperature and humidity monitoring tables in the shed. Workers will ventilate the shed according to the data on the table and combine the weather conditions to keep the temperature in the shed constant.
