Under the "double carbon" strategic goal, concepts such as zero-carbon parks and near-zero-carbon industrial parks have been proposed one after another, and the participation of local governments, enterprises and social groups is enthusiastic. However, how to build a zero-carbon park lacks an enforceable standard system for a period of time.
On May 22, the author learned from the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region that in order to solidly promote the implementation of zero-carbon industrial parks and form enforceable, referenceable and replicable norms and standards, Inner Mongolia recently issued the "Zero Carbon Industrial Park Metrological Evaluation Specification" local standards. On the basis of the local standards of the "Green Power Application Evaluation Method" and the "Zero Carbon Industrial Park Construction Specification" issued, it took the lead in forming a complete local standard system for zero-carbon industrial parks nationwide.
local version of the zero-carbon industrial park standard to fill the gap
zero-carbon industrial park, generally refers to the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions directly or indirectly generated in a certain area, offset by technology, trading and other means within a certain period of time, to achieve zero carbon emissions park.
As a traditional energy province, Inner Mongolia has rich wind resources, of which wind energy resource technology can be developed 1.46 billion kilowatts, accounting for about 57% of the country, solar energy resource technology can be developed 9.40 billion kilowatts, accounting for about 21% of the country, "scenery" unlimited, infinite potential, is the advantage of the construction of zero-carbon industrial park area.
In April 2022, Ordos Zero Carbon Industrial Park was officially completed and put into operation. The park will build a new power system with new energy as the main body, a zero-carbon digital operating system, and a green new industrial cluster. It plans to help the local area achieve 300 billion yuan of green new industrial output value by 2025, create 100,000 green high-tech jobs, and achieve the emission reduction target of 100 million tons of carbon dioxide every year.
Subsequently, the zero-carbon and dust-free smart logistics park in Ordos Qipanjing Industrial Park, the zero-carbon park in Darhan-Maoming'an United Banner in Baotou City, and the integrated zero-carbon industrial park in Tongliao City with tens of thousands of kilowatts of wind and light storage hydrogen and ammonia... From autonomous regions to cities and counties, Inner Mongolia has boldly carried out zero-carbon practices, and multiple zero-carbon concept parks have emerged.
based on the construction practice of zero-carbon parks, Inner Mongolia has taken the lead in formulating a local standard system for zero-carbon industrial parks in the country, providing unified and clear forward-looking guidance for the construction of zero-carbon industrial parks from the aspects of planning layout, statistical accounting, emission reduction path, evaluation and improvement, and information disclosure.
