When using a microscope, there are certain steps that need to be followed. First, place the object to be observed on the stage and adjust the position. Next, adjust the reflector to get proper light to ensure the clarity of the observation. Then, by rotating the magnification of the objective, adjust the magnification of the observation as needed. Finally, make the observation through the eyepiece and record the required information.
Follow the steps, first hold the mirror arm of the microscope with your right hand and hold the lens holder with your left hand to keep the microscope stable. Place the microscope about 7 cm at the edge of the bench, slightly to the left, and ensure that the eyepiece and objective are properly installed. By rotating the converter, align the low magnification lens with the light-through hole to prepare for the observation. Adjust the aperture so that it is aligned with the through hole, and open one eye to gaze at the eyepiece. Rotate the mirror to reflect the light through the through hole into the lens barrel to obtain a bright circular field of view. Place the slide specimen to be observed on the stage and fix it with a tableting clip to ensure that the specimen is facing the center of the through hole. Slowly turn the coarse quasi-focal helix to lower the objective lens to a position close to the slide specimen. Pay attention to keep your eyes on the objective lens. Observe the eyepiece with one eye while rotating the coarse quasi-focal helix counterclockwise to raise the barrel until the object image is clearly visible. Turn the fine quasi-focal helix slightly to optimize the clarity of the object image.
