On the afternoon of April 7, China Electronics signed a cooperation agreement with Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City and Zhongshan City in Sui. Ma Xingrui, Deputy Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Governor, Chen Liangxian, Vice Governor, Wen Guohui, Deputy Secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Chen Zhiying, Standing Committee Member and Executive Vice Mayor of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, Jiao Lansheng, Deputy Secretary of the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Rui Xiaowu, Chairperson and Party Secretary of China Electronics, Zhang Dongchen, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Group, Li Xiaochun and Chen Xu attended the signing ceremony. Zhang Dongchen, Li Xiaochun, Chen Xu, Chen Liangxian, Chen Zhiying and Jiao Lansheng signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of the three parties respectively.
As a strong province in the national information industry, Guangdong's computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry above designated size achieved a value-added of 810.80 billion yuan in 2017, an increase of 12.6%; software business revenue was 931.75 billion yuan, an increase of 14.2%. As an important state-owned backbone enterprise under central management and a national team of cyber security and information industry, China Electronics is taking market-oriented structural reform as the main line, comprehensively deepening systemic reform, accelerating the promotion of a new era of high-quality development, and accelerating the building of a world-class cyber information enterprise with Chinese characteristics and global competitiveness.
In order to accelerate the development of Guangdong's information industry, digital economy, and smart Guangdong, promote intelligent manufacturing and industrial transformation and upgrading, and explore industrial and informatization development models with Guangdong characteristics, China Electronics will cooperate with the governments of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City, and Zhongshan City in the construction of new smart cities, information security services, health care big data centers and industrial parks, industrial Internet, entrepreneurship and innovation parks, Internet + government services, low-power wide-area Internet of Things, and urban rail transit.
