According to foreign media reports, Samsung Electronics has recently completed the development of a 7nm chip process using far ultraviolet (EUV) equipment. Initially, the South Korean semiconductor giant planned to complete the technology in the second half of this year, but finally achieved the goal six months ahead of schedule. Samsung's new technology will enter mass production this year, and the company is currently preparing to provide samples to Qualcomm. It is reported that Qualcomm is the first corporate customer of Samsung's 7nm process.
