在人工智能炒热机器人时,也被人把风带进了教

最近市面上涌现了大量的智能音箱,随之而来的批评声也层出不穷。人们对于机器人这一词的滥用已经忍无可忍,不夸张的说,市面上有一大半自称XX机器人的产品都是跟风。

这阵风是从哪吹起来的?或许是《中国制造2025》,或许是人工智能领域的发展,也有可能是AlphaGO制造的种种大事件。

可我们不知道的是,被这阵风吹起来的,除了各种算法公司、大数据公司、山寨机器人之外,还有一大波机器人教育机构。

这里的机器人教育机构,指的不是那些早教机器人,或是传说中的AI+教育,而是一种通过组装、搭建、运行机器人,激发学生学习兴趣、培养学生综合能力的教育方式。

最典型的就是如图所示的这种,将乐高积木通上电,让他们动起来。

虽然看上去只是玩具,但这一产业已经进入中国一线城市的各个中小学。根据中国机器人教育联盟在2016年发布的数据显示,全国已经有了约有7600家机器人教育机构,最近5年增长了近15倍。预计2016年底,全国机器人教育机构将突破1万家,市场规模约为100-200亿,未来空间可达300亿。

在今年,这个数字只会自增不减。

随着《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010 - 2020年)》将创新二字作为重头戏,机器人教育开始逐渐走进中小学、少年宫。同时《中国素质体育机器人运动通用竞赛规则》正式颁布,各种关于机器人的竞赛有了法规背书,开始登堂入室。

至于国产派系,大多都在分割以上两者留下的空白市场,说是鱼龙混杂也不为过。有的甚至只是购买了几套教具,就开始招揽生源。

市场如此火热,多多少少也证实了机器人教育对青少年有一定的益处。在最近非常流行的STEAM教育中,提倡的学习尖端科技、培养创新能力、合作能力、跨多学科综合教育等等,都在机器人教育中有很好的体现。

可除了教育本身之外,机器人教育中更多的是功利。

一方面是应试教育促进市场发展。

随着创新二字提上日程,机器人教育不仅走入了校园,也走入了中高考加分制度。尤其最近,教育部下发新规定,将自主招生的报名条件做出调整,只留下了学科特长和创新潜质两个类别,各种机器人比赛的含金量又进一步上升。

这样一来,不少家长开始奔着竞赛、特长、加分等等关键词为孩子报机器人班,最终导致家长对K12科技教育的热情大大高于高校生对科技竞赛的参与热情。机器人教育正在像曾经的奥数一样蓬勃发展。
