    法国人以时尚新潮闻名于世,这种名声已弥历数世纪。不管是在时尚、艺术、奢 侈品设计等领域都以领 导者的身份引领着时代的发展。

    究竟是什么原因让法国成为时尚界老大哥的地位并且在数百年间屹立不倒?这一切,都要从19世纪说起……

    热衷于“搞事情”的法国人,两场运动奠定其时尚地位

    19世纪末、20世纪初,法国搞起了“新艺术运动”,他们的设计有个特点就是奢华,为有钱的上层阶级服务。不过到了20年代,随着工业ge命的大发展,留恋于传统手工业的“新艺术运动”被时代淘汰。

    与此同时,经历了战争创伤的法国人民,在面对外来产品贸易竞争的时候发觉,设计光有美丽的外表还不够,实用有内涵才是硬道理,由此“装饰艺术运动”应运而生。

    而装饰主义更具代表性的莫过于现代平面设计大师卡桑德尔的作品了,就连福特汽车也是他的客户之一。后来他还为知名品牌伊夫·圣·罗兰设计了logo标识,没错,就是少女们都喜爱的YSL。

    可能连卡桑德尔都没有想过,当年随手的一个商业作品,多年后竟成为了万千少女崇拜的品牌。

    装饰艺术运动在30年代达到顶峰,这种风格可以满足当时人民挑剔的审美眼光,涉及领域包括建筑、家具、平面、工艺品……,还吸收了玛雅文化、俄国芭蕾舞台艺术、汽车工艺等精髓,展现真正踏入工业文明前法国人的高傲与品位。

    现如今,法国设计已大不同于过去专为上层阶级服务。建筑,时尚,工业,平面领域的发展不仅深入普通大众的生活中,更可谓是百花齐放,各有千秋。

    建筑设计:一个人影响一个时代

    如果你是建筑师或设计师,那么你一定了解现代建筑先驱大师勒·柯布西耶。二战后法国得亏了这位与格罗庇乌斯、密斯·凡德罗齐名的建筑大师坐镇,扛起了现代主义建筑的半边天。

    他丰富多变的作品和充满激情的建筑哲学深刻地影响了20世纪的城市面貌和当代人的生活方式,从早年的白色系列的别墅建筑、马赛公寓到朗香教堂,从巴黎改建规划到昌加尔新城,从《走向新建筑》到《模度》,他不断变化的建筑与城市思想,为法国战后城市的规划带领一个全新的方向。

     

    马赛公寓,寄托了柯布西耶关于新城市的理念,有23种房型,7-8层是商店和休息的公共空间,就像一个小型城市;蒙特里安的经典配色,让建筑显得活泼生动。

    而且法国政府经常主导大型的设计项目来显示法兰西民族的伟大,比如卢浮宫的玻璃金字塔和蓬皮杜艺术中心,都是当时代表性的建筑作品,成为巴黎乃至法国的地标性建筑。
